In theory, there is a way to get very accurate information about the future. From insiders, or wisdom of the crowd. But this information is buried deep inside transactions, trades, and activity somewhere on Polymarket. It is absolutely chaotic, you can't gain anything from it. And surprisingly, almost nobody does analytics on Polymarket. Why?
The question of exploration, of finding the way to this information, is one of the most fascinating topics for me in the last few months.
There is for sure a way to gain just enough alpha to get some kind of edge over the market. And this is my... I guess you'd call it a research blog. Where I try different signals and data on Polymarket.
This is the first idea that came to my mind. We take the most profitable wallets on Polymarket. What if 10 of them decided to enter the same market, at the same price, at the same time? Why did they decide? Saw some idea in a private group, read some news, got insider information? Well, who cares. If they did this, they had the reason. And we can look at this and analyze or do the same.
This is just a list of all markets where the wallets have positions now. And their direction. Don't know yet if there is any alpha in that. But it's interesting if you want to see where everyone is hanging out now.
